BASIC PISTOL COURSE
This course provides training in all aspects of firearms safety and shooting fundamentals. The class starts off with 3 hours of classroom training focused on Firearm Safety and Handling; Pistol Fundamentals; Gun Purchasing and Maintenance. After a short break, we move to the range (located on site) for the shooting portion. Students will shoot 1 on 1 with Instructors with backgrounds in Law Enforcement and competition shooting.
Students will need a pistol (rentals avail for additional fees), 100 rounds of factory ammunition (avail to purchase on site), eye and ear protection, and a good attitude.

PISTOL 1.5
Have you attended a basic pistol course, but want to get a little more training before shooting on your own? Have you shot before, but not felt comfortable? Have you waited months or years since you last shot, and want a refresher? Want to shoot but not without someone helping you out?
This course is a beginner level course designed for those who have limited experience shooting and wanting to continue to develop their knowledge and skills. This course is designed for those who have taken a basic course or who have minimal experience shooting.
In this course, experienced instructors will work with students on developing their fundamentals and help build skills and confidence, and we will have great time doing it!
This class is shooting only, there is no classroom portion.
Students will need their own pistol, eye/ear protection, 150 rounds of factory ammunition, and a positive attitude!

PISTOL II
This course is designed for shooters who have a Basic to Intermediate level Shooting ability. If you have attended a Basic course, or can safely operate your firearm without assistance, this class is for you.
This class focuses on developing a shooters basic fundamentals, and introduces the next steps. Drills consist of fundamental development, target transitioning, Reloading, and more.
1:9 Tactical maintains smaller class sizes to ensure all students get focused, firearm instruction, that they need. Drills and training will be adjusted to fit the needs of the attendees.
Shooters will need a pistol, 200 rounds of factory ammunition, eye and ear protection. A holster is not required, but is recommended.

CONCEALED CARRY FUNDAMENTALS
This course will focus on helping shooters develop the fundamentals necessary to safely and effectively carry a concealed firearm. Experienced instructors will provide training in topics to include concealed drawing and bolstering; shooting from concealment; close quarters shooting; comer and concealment; reloading and more.
Students will run multiple drills focused on developing shooting fundamentals, confidence, safety and accuracy.
Yes! You will shoot from concealment. Students will need a pistol, a holster, 200 rounds of factory ammunition, a concealment garment and at least 2 magazines.

CONCEALED CARRY II (INTERMEDIATE)
For anyone who carries a firearm concealed and has some shooting experience, this class is perfect for you! Our experienced instructors will provide hands-on training and personalized feedback to help ensure you leave feeling more confident and prepared for that worst case situation.
This course will present drills focusing on overcoming obstacles/stress during your draw; target acquisitioning; multiple targets; using cover/concealment; one hand shooting; close combat encounters; shoot/don't shoot; and more.
Students must have a safe and secure holster capable of concealing their firearm on their person. No purse carry, sorry. Students should have a firearm, at least 3 magazines, 300 rounds of factory ammunition; eye and ear protection; and a desire to learn and have a great time at the range.
Optional recommended but not required gear: concealed magazine carrier pouch; kneepads; hat w/ brim; appropriate caliber dummy rounds.
This course is designed around concealed carry, recommended to wear "every day" clothing that is similar to what you would be wearing in a "real life situation".
MARYLAND WEAR & CARRY COURSE
This course is the required 16 hour course necessary to obtain a Maryland Wear and Carry Permit. The course consists of basic firearm safety, MD Laws, Situational Awareness, Concealment Techniques, Shooting Fundamentals and more. Students will need a minimum of 100 rounds of ammo, a pistol, and eye and ear protection.
Pistols are avaialble for rent on site (Contact 1:9 Tactical in advance to reserve your rental). Ammo will be available for purchase on site.
PA residents must have their PA CWP before applying for MD Wear & Carry

ADVANCED CONCEALED CARRY (SCENARIO BASED TRAINING & LIVE FIRE)
This course is designed to provide concealed carriers an opportunity to apply their concealed carry skills to realistic shooting scenarios. This course is certain to help a student not only develop their confidence and skillset when carrying concealed, but also provides training designed to increase awareness and better prepare themselves to defend their actions in a courtroom if needed.
This course will provide drills/training focused on real life application. Drills will consist of live fire and "blue gun" training scenarios. Students will conduct drills that will consist of some hands on physical training geared towards enhancing distance and weapon retention. Training includes topics such as reactionary shooting; increasing speed; seated positions; working around obstacles; reactionary gap awareness; surviving the gun fight and more. Students will also receive a STOP THE BLEED refresher to include self care techniques and a 45 minute Legal Use of Force presentation.
WHAT TO BRING: IWB/OWB Holster; Minimum of 3 magazines; Magazine pouch; 350 rounds of factory ammunition; Eye & Ear protection; Firearm

TACTICAL PISTOL COURSE
This course is designed for intermediate to advanced shooters. Course is designed to introduce tactical application to your shooting fundamentals. Training focuses on topics such as reloading, moving and shooting, using cover and concealment, angle of incidence/cutting the pie, room clearing tactics and more.
Students are required to have a pistol, holster, 3 magazines, 350 rounds of factory ammunition and a good attitude.

STRESS PISTOL COURSE
This course is available for experienced pistol shooters only. This course is designed to apply real life application to pistol fundamental training. Are you prepared to defend yourself in real life? Have you trained when your heart is racing, you are breathing heavy, you are nervous? This course will apply stress and physical challenges while incorporating shooting development training.
This course does require students to be in moderately decent physical condition. No, you dont have to be a marathon runner or body builder. You just need to be prepared to do a little heavy lifting, light jogging, and frequent movement. This course will challenge even the best of of shooters! This course is not only great for shooting development, but it is a just an overall great time! Don't miss out, class size is limited.

POLAR PISTOL: COLD WEATHER CONCEALED CARRY
This course is a one of a kind course to learn from experienced instructors and discover effective techniques for carrying concealed firearms in cold conditions. Students will participate in training drills focused on concealment with heavy or layered garments, wearing gloves, experiencing the cold and more. This course is not designed for new shooters. This course is an intermediate to advanced level course. Students must have a pistol; 200 rounds of factory ammunition; eye/ear protection; a safe and practical concealment holster; gloves and additional cold weather garments.
THIS COURSE WILL BE HELD AT AN OUTDOOR RANGE. PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND WHEN BOOKING YOUR CLASS. THIS CLASS WILL TAKE PLACE, REGARDLESS OF WEATHER! You do not get to choose your weather in a real life situation, so we believe it is important to train in all conditions.

YOUTH PISTOL SEMINAR W/ LIVE FIRE
This great seminar is designed to provide handgun safety training to youth between 10-17 years of age. This seminar is great for those who have guns in their home and have never trained their children; kids who want to learn more about pistol shooting sports; kids who may be interested in a future involving a profession where shooting is involved; or kids who just want to have a good time!
This course consists of a 2 hour in class seminar, followed by a live fire portion. Students will have the opportunity to shoot pistols under the supervision of safe, experienced and certified firearms instructors.
Parents are encouraged to be present with their youth during the seminar (No you can't shoot!). Ages 10-13, parents MUST be present during shooting portion of the seminar.
